Profile
I’m Faqih Ethana Prabandaru, a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Indonesia. I build cross-platform applications and design-system-driven interfaces.
Since 2025, my work has centered on Hub Group Manager, supporting Samsung’s Hub Everywhere vision for connected and resilient smart homes. I joined its initial task force in Suwon, South Korea, and now lead development in Indonesia while working with the Suwon team on architecture and delivery.
Earlier, I worked on SmartThings plugin UI, frontend components at Zenius, and university web platforms at UGM. I enjoy solving complex problems and building maintainable solutions with teams across locations.
Experience
Senior Software Engineer
Samsung R&D Institute Indonesia
Technical lead for Hub Group Manager development in Indonesia. Joined the initial task force for a three-month assignment in Suwon and now coordinates technical decisions and delivery with three Suwon engineers while leading one local engineer.
Software Engineer
Samsung R&D Institute Indonesia
Contributed to the PluTo SmartThings plugin UI library and developer guide in 2022–2023. Led the TV plugin component migration from native Android and iOS to WebView in 2023–2024, then began work on Hub Group Manager in 2025.
Frontend Engineer
Zenius
Built frontend UI for internal prototypes and packaged components for the Zenius and Primagama websites, documenting and maintaining those components.
Software Engineer
Zenius
Developed hundreds of UTBK problems for ZenPractice from tutor-designed templates, coordinating curriculum structure and quality checks with tutors.
Frontend Engineer
Universitas Gadjah Mada
Redesigned the Direktorat Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat website and built web experiences for KKN-PPM UGM events, the ONEHEALTH symposium, and the MEDCOM competition.

Samsung Employee of the Quarter in Q4 2023 and Q3 2024; Samsung “Professional” software engineer certificate. Finalist in the 2017 ACM-ICPC Binus Asia Jakarta Regional and Indonesia Maranatha Provincial programming contests.
