Context
Hub Group Manager supports Samsung’s Hub Everywhere strategy, bringing compatible standalone hubs and hubs built into TVs, monitors, refrigerators, and soundbars into a shared management experience.
Contribution
Selected for the initial task force in Suwon for a three-month assignment, then served as technical lead for development in Indonesia. Led one local engineer while collaborating with three engineers in Suwon.

Drove technical decisions, aligned architecture, and coordinated delivery across the two locations.

- Create, edit, and delete Hub Groups, choose a primary hub, and manage secondary hubs.
- Extend Thread and Zigbee coverage through multiple hubs and support local routines.
- Hub Backup transfers devices and routines to an available secondary hub if the primary goes offline, with automatic or user-guided recovery.
- Set a preferred hub to resume primary duties when it returns online.
